Pre Purchase Inspections

Before you purchase your new home make sure you have had a pre purchase inspection

A pre purchase inspection, also known as a ‘Timber Pest Inspection’ is recommended before purchasing a property to ensure that no hidden structural issues exist. Timber pests include termites, wood borers and wood decay fungi (wood rot). These timber pests are common in all properties and can undermine timber structures.

Pre Purchase inspections are usually carried out before sale of contracts of the property are finalised. and our property inspections are guided by the scope and limitations specified in the Australian Standards ‘Standards in Property Inspection Reports AS 4349.1 2007 and AS 4349.3 2007’.

We aim to make the inspection process easy and efficient. We are aware that our clients require information quickly to make important financial decisions.

Once you have requested an inspection we contact the agent or vendor to arrange an inspection time.

Once the inspection has taken place you will be contacted and provided with a brief overview of the home inspection findings. You will be emailed and posted the reports the following day. You can contact us to discuss any aspect of the report once you have received it.

Our reports are written in a simple and easy to read format making it easy to understand and are delivered within 24 to 48 hours.
